Mekala Tinnin of the Tie That Binds is the source for this simply adorable bridal shower that she styled and designed {she’s fabulous you must follow her if you do not already!}. Like WRK, Mekala agrees that it’s all about the details and it is truly the essence of what she does – and loves to do! Styled to match the bride’s sweet and serene spirit, this bridal shower was a great example of minimal details used to create a big visual impact. With the help of the bride’s family and friends, we pulled together an elegant food fondue table with simplistic but thoughtful shower details. Starting with an invitation suite to include recipe cards, story cards, and a “something old, something new” riddle, Tie That Binds completed the package with a vellum belly band and lightly-printed feather. The coffee-stained doilie bunting read “Feather Her Nest,” and printed muslin bird seed bags were used for guest favors. The shower games included feather details- like hemp-strung feather necklaces, and the signage package added nest-themed touches throughout the event. Lastly, the DIY flower arrangements were a local day-of purchase that really added a touch of luxe to the gathering.
